Martial Arts
A life style
I began performing martial arts, when I was 14, by attending a course of Ju Jitsu, a discipline
I have been practicing for several years.
In 1994 I had the chance of meeting
Teacher Davide Gardella during his trainings.
I became immediately fascinated by the characteristic fighting techniques performed in Tae Kwon Do,
based on very spectacular performances of kicks. The following step was to subscribe and attending
trainings of this new martial art for my personal experience. Differences between Ju Jitsu and
Tae Kwon Do appeared evident, since Tae Kwon Do showed more dynamicity and allowed to efficiently
develop the performances based on kicks. I obtained the Tae Kwon Do black belt 1° dan
after constant trainings.
During this period of time,
Teacher Davide Gardella began interesting in
Jeet Kune Do,
integrating trainings of this discipline in Tae Kwon Do ones. At that time further "enrichments"
were coming from
Sifu Ted Wong's
seminars which
Teacher Davide Gardella was attending to.
My desire of enhancing my skill in
Jeet Kune Do brought myself to attend a
Sifu Ted Wong's
seminar
that was due in Turin, Italy, in 1998.
In Turin I had also the precious chance of personally meeting
Sifu Ted Wong and deeply appreciate the way he taught and divulged the
Bruce Lee's art.
In 2004 I obtained the rank of
Instructor Jeet Kune Do
at the
C.A.A.M.
in Milan, Italy, followed by that of
Teacher in 2008.
In June 2008 I had the deepest pleasure of attending the
Summit in
Orlando,
FL, where
Sifu Ted Wong
had invited
HIS ACKNOWLEDGED TEACHERS. It was a very important chance of personally meeting all the
Teachers
coming from different Countries, training with them and enriching my knowledge of the
Jeet Kune Do.
I am now keeping on training with
Teacher Davide Gardella at the
Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do - Genoa - Italy.
